The Upstate Catholic Business Network will host our regular Breakfast and Speaker on 6 March. Please note the new start time of 7:15AM.
Our March breakfast speaker is Timothy (TJ) Nielsen, who will lead a Lenten reflection. TJ is the Executive Director of the Center for Evangelical Catholicism. He holds a BA in History from Hillsdale College and an MA in Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut.
TJ, who grew up in Arizona, moved to Upstate South Carolina to attend graduate school at Clemson University and then taught history and theology for five years in Catholic schools in Greenville. In July 2013 he became the pastoral associate at St Mary's Church and along with Fr Jay Scott Newman co-founded the CEC, where he is responsible for directing its operations and coordinating its programs and conferences.
In their ample free time, TJ and his wife, Alycia, have six children, are lay members of the Dominican Order, and TJ works full time as a Financial Advisor.
Please note the new start time of 7:15AM. Sully’s Steamers will provide breakfast, so please RVSP so that we can give them an accurate headcount. We will meet at the offices of Parallel Financial, 511 Rhett Street, Suite 2A, Greenville, SC 29601. Parking is available in any of the three lots shown in the map below. There may also be some available spots on Rhett Street or Main Street.
